As a discipline, graphic design excels in its capacity to fluidly respond to the way societies change in how they communicate both globally and locally. Technologies often function to support this via new ways of interacting and exchanging information. The not-so-distant pandemic has required agile responses from our 2024 graduating cohort, demonstrating the importance of graphic design practice and how it forms an understanding of the world around us.

Despite these challenging times, our students have produced a range of relevant and insightful design projects that demonstrate breadth, depth and innovation in approach. Their independence and design engagement came to the fore.

Within a course that is multidisciplinary by nature, these students have engaged their practice with rigour and intelligence. Our Graphic Design BA course provides an environment where young designers can explore their voices across a wide range of ideas and subject disciplines; employing research, experimentation and the application of design technologies.

The projects on show here are the culmination of three invested years of study, and it has been hugely rewarding to work alongside these committed and engaging individuals.
